Today we spent the day in Leicester visiting relatives.

This morning we went to Leith docks to see the Britannia.

It was raining when we started our tour inside the castle.

After checking into the hostel in York we went into town.

In the late afternoon the narrow streets in York were dark. The low sun shining down a side steet illuminates a building.

After checking out of the hostel we walked along the Ouse riverbank to the Jorvik Viking Centre.
At the end of our tour the boys dressed up in these Viking costumes for a photo.
