Our first stop on our tour today is to see these capuchin monkeys.
Next we went to a shop to try fruit and cane juice.
We had a demonstration of how the juice is extracted by crushing the cane.
An iguana in a tree.
This is the best picture of the macaws I have. We went to a fishing village to see them.
We were in a boat like this while we were on the river tour.
Some of the animals we saw on our river trip.
After lunch we went to a hotel to be shown round the gardens. These leafcutter ants were crossing the path.
A baby crocodile found it's way into this lilly pond.
Here it is.
Another photo of an iguana.
At the end of the day guess who was docked beside us.
A bicycle tour round Corinto.
There were several of these manicured trees on the streets.
This is a beach where the erosion is a problem.
Colleen and our driver looking at the beach.
Our bicycle with George the driver.
Hand launching a rocket at the market.
Colleen in the market.
There were bundles of what we presumed to be firewood outside many homes.
A view over Corinto, where we were in the morning, from the ship.
Just before we reached Iximche we drove through the town of Tecpan on market day.
When we arrived at Iximche our guide gave us an introduction to the Mayan writing and number system.
Iximche archaeological site.
Here is a link to a 360 degree panorama of the Iximche archaeological site.A model of Iximche archaeological site in the museum.
Agricuture seen on the way back to the ship.
Playa Santa Cruz is a beach town so a little walk round the streets was all we did. It was very hot. These are photos of the beach and town.
Cabo San Lucas from the ship.
We called into this bar to have a lemonade and use the free wifi.
What medication would you like?. It seems to be all here!
A pirate themed bar.
Looking at the town from the marina.
An early start today to be on deck to sail under the Golden Gate Bridge.
The bridge with Alcatraz Island behind on the left.
Alcatraz Island.
An iconic view of San Franscio, steep streets with cable cars.
Crossing the Golden Gate Bridge on a HoHo bus. (It was cold up there!)
After lunch we decided to walk up telegraph hill to the Coit tower.
These are some of the stairs we had to climb.
On the way up we were able to see our ship.
At the top at last. The Coit tower built between 1932 and 1933 using Lillie Hitchcock Coit's bequest to beautify the city of San Francisco.
The last flight of stairs to the street.
We have just been up there.
We chose to do our HoHo tour of Vancouver in this type of bus..
Vancouver's Girl In A Wetsuit. On the north side of Stanley Park.
We're in Gastown now and this is a statue of "Gassy" Jack Deighton. So called because of his habit of talking at length. The area around his saloon was called Gassy's Town.
The Steam Clock in Gastown.
A-maze-ing Laughter sculpture.
Sailing away. Looking back to Vancouver where we were docked.
A miserably cold day in Seattle. We took the bus into town but did not stay long.
