These bridges are not for vehicles or people. Because the motorway cut through migration paths the bridges are for animals to safely cross the motoway.

In Banff we took the gondola ride to the summit of Sulpher Mountain. This is a view of Banff.
In the centre of this photo is the hotel where we stayed in Banff.
We walked from our hotel across the bridge on the left and then down to Bow waterfall, visible above the Rimrock hotel on the right. On the way back we crossed over on the footbridge to the right of the main bridge.

The tour is over and we are on our own looking round Calgary. This is the Calgary Tower.
